Villa Sinthrara is located on the stunning MASON Pattaya resort on Na Jomtien Beach, very close to the buzzy Pattaya centre with its colourful, neon Walking Street and excellent, flamboyant entertainment in the cabaret clubs.  On the other side of the resort, you can visit the villages between Jomtien and Sattahip like Bang Sare and Ban Amphur and get a full-on fishing village experience. Every day boats stream in between the jetties at Ban Amphur to unload their fish, squid and crabs. You can taste delicious Thai seafood dishes at the waterside restaurants.
Bang Sare or Bangsaray as it is sometimes called is also home to fantastic seafood restaurants on stilts with sea views overlooking the Gulf. It is also home to the wonderful, award-winning Nong Nooch Tropical Garden with its 17th-century French gardens, a recreation of Stonehenge, creative topiary gardens and gardens displaying cacti, bonsais, tropical palms and orchids. It combines a theme park with rides, the exquisite gardens and even a zoo.  There are a number of excellent golf courses in the area including St Andrews 2000, Rayong Green Valley, Pheonix Gold Golf and Country Club and Plutaluang Navy Golf Course.  Koh Larn is also known as Coral Island. It is a little piece of paradise 7.5km west of Pattaya Beach. With its long stretch of pristine, fine sand and the cerulean blue sea, devoid of any high risers, the island is stunningly beautiful and a peaceful haven. The island’s clear waters are excellent for snorkelling. You can have your hair braided and your body henna-tattooed. You can take a trip to the island from Bali Hai Pier in Pattaya.  For some culture, you can visit the stunning and colourful Wat Phra Khao Yai or Big Buddha Hill in South Pattaya. The 18 metres tall, golden Budda watches over Jomtien and Pattaya Beaches. The site is an active temple with many bells, burning incense and numerous statues. Visitors will be entranced by the colourful temple complex all around the golden Buddha.
You can negotiate with a songtaew (baht bus) to take you to the majestic Khao Pattaya View Point on Pratumnak Hill. You will get an amazing view of Pattaya’s sweeping bay.
