Whether you’re tucking into some apple strudel at the dining table or sliding back the bifold doors to enjoy a franziskaner on the terrace, you’ll be able to witness incredible scenes of the Wetterstein mountains hugging this home in a warm embrace. We particularly love the hazy morning views of the forest you get as soon as you open the curtains in the bedroom. You will feel completely immersed in the tranquility of nature.
Although to fully appreciate the beauty of this Austrian region, you need to head out and explore it from different angles. For truly spectacular panoramics, hire bikes for the day and challenge the household to climb Wetterstein. It will be a three-hour cycle (not taking into account stops), but the reward at the end will be worth it! If cycling up mountains isn’t your thing, you could cycle to Wildsee lake (a thirty-six-minute ride) and go for a swim in the refreshing waters. There are also plenty of short hiking trails to enjoy on your doorstep in the Leutasch Valley. Find a nice spot for a picnic with the family and soak up the fresh alpine air.
