If you’re in search of a stylish, contemporary apartment to accommodate your stay in the capital, look no further. Step into the open living space and you’ll find a reflective chequerboard floor underneath a disco ball that — you won’t be expecting this — opens up into a bed. The kitchen is set up like a dark and sultry bar, complete with stools lined against the counter and glasses stacked on the display shelves, while the master bedroom — accessed through a door-within-a-door — also has a bathtub hidden away behind some curtains. If you’re in the mood for playing about, there are chests full of props and lots of curios dotted about for some great photos. The concierge service in the building will be able to help with any other requests. Although you could easily spend your whole weekend in this eclectic space, there’s plenty to see in the locale. Part of the Berlin Wall still stands on the street outside, and there are a varied collection of flea markets, artisanal cafes and galleries in the neighbourhood. Mauerpark is only ten minutes’ walk down the street, too.
