A home as large, as elegant, and as characterful as Satin Kurrajong is too much to describe in this space. The photos give a good impression, but even then, it has to be experienced before you really understand how good this place is. Stanton and his family live here, and it’s clear how much love went into the design. There’s something evocative about staying in a Brooklyn brownstone, whatever it’s like inside, but when it’s like this, you feel like you’ve hit the jackpot.

*The basement has a laundry room and a wine cellar, but it’s not quite finished yet
*As a family lives in this home most of the time, you might come across some of their things, and some of the bedrooms are clearly designed for children
*They also have a dog, and while he won’t be around during your stay, but it’s worth knowing about if you have an allergy
*There are a couple of pull-out single beds in the communal areas
