Rent Apartment Celadon Podocarp Bakoven
Holiday Home Rental Description
With spectacular views over rolling South Atlantic swells and the iconic 669m-tall Lion’s Head mountain, this three-bedroom apartment is high up in Camps Bay, within a quiet, family-friendly enclave of nine semi-detached units.
The lower level is open plan and leads to an irresistible outdoor area with stylish seating, a small private pool and incredible sea views. It’s easy to imagine long days where you don’t stray far from this spot. Back inside, a fully equipped kitchen should be capable of handling anything you can throw at it, with a glass-topped dining table and built-in corner sofa rounding out the offering.
Upstairs, the main bedroom is the pick of the bunch and boasts a private balcony that makes the most of the elevated location, plus an in-room bathtub. Two further double bedrooms share a bathroom, and look out over the rugged mountain scenery to the back side of the property.
If you can tear yourself away, the pristine white sand and beachside tidal pool of Camps Bay Beach are approximately 3km from your front door. A beachside promenade lined with bars and restaurants makes it the perfect ‘dip and dine’ destination, and means you don’t have to think ahead when it comes to stocking up on supplies for the following day’s beach picnic.
Sandwiched between the sea and mountains, you’ll also find a selection of challenging hikes through nearby Table Mountain National Park. However, for that iconic Cape Town photo from the top of the mountain, you’ll need to drive the 3.5km to Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, which will whisk you up the mountain in around five minutes.
