Pretty much its own adventure park, this home in Austin is definitely one the entire family can enjoy. With a volleyball court, soccer field, basketball hoop, and its own jogging track, it’s hard to believe there can be even more, but just wait until you see the waterslide. A complete showstopper, it will provide hours of laughter for the kids – although we definitely recommend the entire family trying it at least once – whilst the adults make use of the beautiful garden furniture on the patio to sit back and relax. Back at the pool, you’ll see a rocky outcrop where the water is nice and shallow for anyone still a little unsure about getting all the way into the deep end. Drag your chair there so you can cool your feet down, keep an eye on the swimmers, and get on with reading your holiday romance novel.
To the side of the pool, you can kindle the fire pit as soon as the sun starts to dip. Sit out there with cacao as you roast marshmallows and wind down for the day – preferably after grilling up a feast on the barbecue. After a bit of stargazing, retreat to the lush comforts inside. Fluffy pillows, beds you can sink into and a very calming colour palette.
As if this home isn’t active enough, the Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park is around thirteen miles away and there is more than one hiking trail within driving distance for when you’re looking to reconnect with nature. Golfers will also be pleased to know there are two options reachable by car in under fifteen minutes.
