From the moment you step through the door you can tell this lovely family home, has been designed to be lived in. The living room is like a library, with shelves brimming with books, and the kitchen comes stocked with every herb and spice you can think of, alongside well-thumbed cookbooks. It’s ideal for those travelling with kids as there is a single bedroom with a stand-up piano (perhaps for lullabies?) and the third bedroom has a collection of toys and games, including a cute doll’s house. The cherry on top is the huge garden out the back, where grown-ups can gather on the corner rattan sofa for a sundowner and kids can play between the trees. The location is hard to beat too – it’s a 3-minute walk to Highbury & Islington station where you can be in central London in less then 20-minutes.
