Manoir Alys France
Holiday Home Rental Description
This luxurious 18th century property has been carefully refurbished into a bright and open space that’s perfect for friends and family gatherings. Even though great care has been taken to retain period features including a stone fireplace and antique doors, the interior has a distinctly modern feel, with a mix of antiques and design pieces – leading to it being named one of Europe’s 50 best villas by the New York Times.
The property’s interior designer owner made sure that the social areas are finely crafted for relaxation, and the same can easily be said for the hectare of exterior grounds which contains several dining, lounging and aperitif areas along with amazing views over Mont Ventoux and the medieval town, as well the large pool with its ample decking space. Both inside and outside. Either enjoy a bit of hard-earned private time or surround yourself with good company – the choice is yours!
With the Mont Ventoux only a stone’s throw away, Maison Alys is also a perfect destination for keen cyclists. The area offers endless quiet back roads – if you wanted to, you could easily pedal for days on end. The Roman theatre and many medieval venues are opened for festivals throughout the busy cultural season too – a truly unforgettable slice of the magic of rural France.
