The large outdoor lounge area provides whatever you are in the mood for. With a bar area with bar stools, comfy sofas and a pizza oven, you can change your plans each evening, from cocktail making on one night, to pizza creating on the other.
There are terraces on both the ground and first floors and both of them look and feel spectacular when night falls as they are glamorously lit up. The upstairs terrace provides an even more amazing view of the natural surroundings and has a plethora of social and lounging space.
The open plan style of the villa sees the living and dining room and kitchen merge. In the living room, guests will find a piano which can provide sophisticated evening entertainment for any seasoned musicians out there. The room also extends out onto the covered terrace, which is bound to be used as a living room itself in this endlessly pleasant climate.
If you do fancy an evening in, the media room is the place to go. With a 60-inch flat screen television, pool table and a DVD library, you will never be bored or short of things to do. Villa Garden Dream is located in the Parish of Saint James. The popular shopping centre, Holetown Chattel Village lies nearby. Right in the heart of Holetown, the destination that consists of traditional wooden ‘Chattel Houses’ sells the best in local fashion, arts and crafts. Quaint, old fretwork houses decorated in vivid colours line the street with tropical gardens providing the surroundings. Once you’ve found something special, the lovely Cafe Bar Carizma awaits you. The café services sandwiches and hot and cold beverages with live music on most afternoons and evenings.
There is plenty of close by places to take up a little horse riding while exploring the island’s hidden nooks and crannies up close. Jah Works Riding Stables in Bridgetown is perfect for riders new and old, of all levels. The centre offers tours across the countryside and beach where you will even be able to interact with other wildlife such as the turtles and Green Monkey’s native to Barbados. The private and uncrowded tours allow you to comfortably take in the island’s scenery while gently gliding along. You will definitely see things you otherwise wouldn’t.
Accra Beach in Bridgetown is a favourite of both tourists and locals alike and is another great spot to partake in some snorkelling under the deep, clear blue sea. The beach has enough visitors to create a nice atmosphere but is rarely overcrowded. There is a lovely boardwalk to enjoy peaceful morning walks on and sun loungers where you can bask in the sunshine.
