Just over 5km from the centre of beautiful Altea, this 5-bedroom villa has many of the attractions of the Costa Blanca within a short drive. Enjoying the gorgeous surroundings of the Don Cayo golf resort, Villa Alejandra offers lots of privacy and is only 4km from the beach.
This villa looks out over areas of greenery and to the town and mountains beyond. The outdoor areas are a real joy, whether you want to take a dip in the private pool, relax on a sun lounger or dine on the terrace.
There are covered seating areas, as well as open spaces so that you can choose between sun and shade. A barbecue is provided which makes a high focal point for getting together with friends.
You can walk straight in from the terrace to the main living area, a light space equipped with air-conditioning, digital TV and plenty of seating. There is also a dining table and chairs with room for six people. Sweeping curves add character to these areas, and the white walls and tiled floors give them a fresh feel.
The welcoming kitchen is equipped with dark wood units, a dishwasher and microwave, among many other high-quality appliances. All except one of the bedrooms can be found on the lower ground floor, with four large double bedrooms and a twin to choose from. There is also an additional sofa-bed on the lower level.
With Altea just a short drive from the villa, you can enjoy its charm and beauty with ease. A wander around the town will reward you with pretty white houses, cobbled streets and some great restaurants, while the marina and stunning beaches are bound to get your attention too.  
This most picturesque of towns is just a 15-minute drive from the livelier resort of Calpe, which offers more of a tourist scene with many bars, clubs and entertainment venues – something replicated on an even grander scale in Benidorm, a similar distance south of Altea.Altea is one of the most beautiful towns on the Costa Blanca, where things stay mild virtually all year. It’s a pretty and quiet town, which hasn’t gone down the tourist route, despite its popularity.
You won’t find nightclubs, English bars and hedonism here – it’s a far more subtle place, with cobbled streets, traditional Spanish restaurants and a beautiful promenade fringed with palm trees.
Around the town, you will be able to potter around streets full of white buildings, which house exciting shops and some excellent restaurants.
The cuisine of this part of the world should be tried – there’s excellent seafood (naturally), and hearty meat and rice dishes are likely to be on the menu too.
There are international options also, from Japanese to Belgian to Indian so that you won’t go hungry whatever your taste.
Some beautiful areas of natural beauty are nearby and waiting to be explored. The mountains of the Serra de Bèrnia i Ferrer are a few kilometres north of Altea, while the coastal charms of the Serra Gelada, just along the coast from the golden sands of Benidorm’s Playa de Levante, are equally rewarding. Other picturesque places close by including peaceful Polop, about 8km away, a town surrounded by pine groves and orchards –  another good choice for those who like things more relaxed.
Not much further, to the north, Calpe gives you not just a wide selection of entertainment, but beautiful coastal views and rugged landscapes, perfect for getting active in whichever way you choose.
