Set amongst verdant surroundings around 9km from Altea, Villa Rosaura is an exquisite holiday home on the Costa Blanca. With opulent interiors and beautiful outdoor areas, it has enough room for up to 10 guests and offers scenic views from its outdoor pool.
This 5-bedroom villa enjoys proximity to Calpe, Benidorm and the natural beauty of the mountainous Serra de Bèrnia i Ferrer. Its great pool terrace looks right out to sea and offers lots of space to sunbathe, sit or dine, with a barbecue, day beds and seating area also available in Villa Rosaura’s grounds. The villa’s elevated position only makes the views from the property all the more stunning.
Inside, you have a large, open-plan living and dining room, equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV and lots of comfortable seating. Another living room features a pool table, cinema set-up and music system, and a fitness room, sauna and even a piano provide more relaxation options.
You have direct access to the terrace from the kitchen, equipped with oven, dishwasher, four induction hotplates, a microwave and fridge freezer. Besides, there are three bathrooms and five bedrooms set over the villa’s two floors. Some of these come with their dressing room, and/or an en suite of their own.
The property has many more advantages, including a lift, parking, and free Wi-Fi. It’s also just a short drive from the nearest shops and restaurants, around 3-5km away. The closest beaches are just a little further, around 6km from the villa.
Altea’s traditional, peaceful character can be easily appreciated, and it’s a beautiful town to head to for dining and walks on the promenade. As the base of various artists, it has a creative, even Bohemian feel.
If you want something more lively, there’s plenty of entertainment in the resort of Calpe, a short drive north, or in lively Benidorm, about 15 minutes’ drive south.Altea is one of the most beautiful towns on the Costa Blanca, where things stay mild virtually all year. It’s a pretty and quiet town, which hasn’t gone down the tourist route, despite its popularity.
You won’t find nightclubs, English bars and hedonism here – it’s a far more subtle place, with cobbled streets, traditional Spanish restaurants and a beautiful promenade fringed with palm trees.
Around the town, you will be able to potter around streets full of white buildings, which house exciting shops and some excellent restaurants.
The cuisine of this part of the world should be tried – there’s excellent seafood (naturally), and hearty meat and rice dishes are likely to be on the menu too. There are international options also, from Japanese to Belgian to Indian so that you won’t go hungry whatever your taste.
Some beautiful areas of natural beauty are nearby and waiting to be explored. The mountains of the Serra de Bèrnia i Ferrer are a few kilometres north of Altea, while the coastal charms of the Serra Gelada, just along the coast from the golden sands of Benidorm’s Playa de Levante, are equally rewarding. Other picturesque places close by including peaceful Polop, about 8km away, a town surrounded by pine groves and orchards –  another good choice for those who like things more relaxed.
Not much further, to the north, Calpe gives you not just a wide selection of entertainment, but beautiful coastal views and rugged landscapes, perfect for getting active in whichever way you choose.
