La Golondrina is a super, well-situated villa – it sleeps ten across four bedrooms, and there’s a self-contained apartment on the lower ground floor with further accommodation. Tastefully decorated, with tiled floors throughout, and a clean well-maintained finish, you’ll find this villa has everything you will need for a really relaxing holiday.
On the ground floor, the space is largely open plan – the living and dining areas are well defined and separated by a decorative ironwork balustrade that takes you down to the lower ground level. The living room has comfortable modern sofas and an armchair, and a flat screen satellite television and lovely big windows overlooking the front of the property. Across from here the dining room has a table and chairs, and large double glass doors that take you out on to the terrace. Just here too is the fully-fitted modern kitchen, with its sociable cooking area – the hob is set into an open countertop that doubles up as a bar area with stools, so whoever is cooking can still enjoy chatting to the rest of the group. All the appliances you might need are here, making your stay an easy one. There are also double glass doors out to the terrace.
The first floor has the first of the bedrooms – one double and one twin. Both have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning, but the double bedroom also benefits from having fitted wardrobes and also a larger family bathroom with separate shower and bath, and a separate WC. It also has access to the first floor terrace with superb views.
Head back downstairs, and on to the lower ground floor – there are two further bedrooms here, again one double and one twin; both with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. There is also a self-contained apartment with an open plan living & dining room, fully fitted kitchen (smaller than the main kitchen, but with all appliances), and a shower room with WC. The living area has a satellite television and a desk area offering flexibility for your group, do you need it to double as an office or a play room? The last of the accommodation is here, with the sofa being a double sofa bed – as it’s in a private self-contained section of the villa, and is ideal for those travelling with members of the party who might want to keep a bit more independence.
Outside is a generous terrace with private swimming pool, barbecue, private covered parking for two cars and most importantly great views. There’s also an outdoor dining table and chairs under the covered area, just the job for keeping out of the sun and enjoying a relaxing lunch.La Golondrina is situated within one of Spain’s most wonderful holiday towns. Moraira is nestled between mountains and the sea, the jewel of the ever popular Costa Blanca’s crown, with charming waterfronts, parks and beaches. There is a huge range of local shops and markets along with supermarkets for more basic necessities, and a wide variety of international cuisine if you fancy something different. Most exciting is the traditional Moraira morning fish market situated in the town’s marina, where that morning’s catch attracts eager crowds of visitors and locals. Well serviced by a variety of restaurants, supermarkets, bars and shops and a short drive from golf, theme parks, water parks, safari parks and many other things to do, there is plenty to keep all ages entertained.
Activities for adults include art galleries, local shopping, Jet-ski hire, water skiing, deep sea fishing, diving tuition, tennis courts, a golf course and mountain bike hire. However, the town is also truly child friendly, with specially designed parks situated throughout the town, along with mini-golf and funfairs. The beaches are safe, well-kept and accessible from the main town. If you wish, it is always possible to escape the madding crowd and seek serenity in any of the multitude of quiet coves along the coastline, or immerse yourself in the Spanish culture that the Costa Blanca still proudly preserves as the backbone of its outlook.
