Villa Alcantara is the perfect accommodation for two families or a large group of friends wanting to holiday together but wanting a little private time too. This special villa oozes rustic charm and sits in a privileged position on the hills above Moraira, Costa Blanca with spectacular views.
Moraira is an endearing fishing village surrounded by remarkable rocks and stunning blue waters. With a relaxed vibe, unspoilt scenery all around, an impressive marina and two brilliant Blue Flag beaches, it really is a wonderful destination for a summer holiday. Villa Alcantara is divided into two separate floors each with their own entrance, kitchens and living spaces. In total it has five bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 guests. The villa is so charming with traditional wooden doors and beams. With modern décor, fittings and furniture are wonderful and very comfortable to stay in. On the upper level, which is accessed directly from the street, there are two large double bedrooms. One of these bedrooms connects to a third bedroom with a trundle bed. There are two lovely bathrooms on this floor with showers. The internal stairs lead to a fabulous living room with a fireplace and awesome views. The smart kitchen is off the living room. The dining room has a grill and huge windows so that you can admire the scenery. From the dining area, you can access the splendid garden and pool. The lower level of the villa is accessed from the entrance of the pool and also offers a wonderful, spacious living room with a small, contemporary kitchen, two large double bedrooms and two very smart bathrooms – one with a bath and the other a shower. The windows of the living room open to a fabulous terrace overlooking the stunning green valley. There is a barbecue area and another terrace. The outside space of this villa is very special with fantastic views out to the sea and of Moraira below. The pool area is spectacular with lush planting all around in the garden, sun loungers, barbecue and an outdoor dining area. There is so much space for everyone to enjoy sunny days together. The villa has covered parking for three cars. This villa is absolutely perfect for a large group of holidaymakers that want to have fun together but perhaps might enjoy a little private time.Villa Alcantara is situated in a lovely position – so ideal for guests who want to enjoy wonderful scenery as well as spectacular beaches. It is located 4km from Moraira, 4km from the lovely Playa de l’Ampolla beach, 2km from a restaurant and 2km from a large supermarket. Alicante airport is 93km away, and Valencia airport is a similar distance. Moraira is located between Javea and Calpe on the beautiful mountainous north-eastern tip of Spain’s fabulous Costa Blanca. It is a beautiful seaside town with traditional Spanish charm oozing through its cobblestone streets and market squares. The surrounding region has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, with stunning, unspoiled landscapes, fabulous beaches and many charming villages to explore. Moraira offers many entertainment options – water sports, horse riding, cycling, tennis, squash, go-kart racing, golf, boat trips, lovely harbourside restaurants, nightclubs and a weekly Friday market. There are many markets in the neighbouring towns and villages so you can stock up on excellent fruits and vegetables, local specialities, herbs and spices, leather goods, clothes, souvenirs, pottery and lots more! If you are eating out, there are many good quality restaurants, including 8 Michelin recommended restaurants in the immediate area, 3 of which are star rated. There is so much choice! Some larger towns are definitely worth visiting. Javea, Calpe, Denia and Altea are all within 15km while Benidorm is about 30km away. Calpe offers a perfect mix of old Valencian culture and charm with top-notch tourist facilities. Javea, steeped in history, is also a jewel on the Costa Blanca, combining beauty and modern facilities with the charm of an ancient fishing village. The mountain-top fortress of Guadalest, the Vergal Safari Park near Denia, Europe’s largest palm forest at Elche and the ancient city of Murcia are other options for visits.
