Villa Durero Spain

Villa Durero is a comfortable, traditional style villa with modern touches and excellent views of the countryside and towards the mountains. The villa is in a tranquil residential area, 2.1km from the centre of Moraira and 2.9km from the sea. With 3 spacious double bedrooms, the villa is ideal for a family or a group of friends. It sleeps 6 guests. 

Moraira is a fabulous resort offering delicious cuisine from its many restaurants, a delightful marina, excellent shopping, beautiful beaches, palm-line avenues, small funfair and wonderful, varied entertainment. It is situated between Javea and Calpe, and all around there is wonderful, panoramic scenery to enjoy and explore. 

Villa Durero has a large, spacious living and dining room with comfortable furnishings and access to the terrace. The beamed, sloping ceiling creates a warm ambience, and this continues throughout the villa. The kitchen is modern and well-maintained. The three double bedrooms all have french beds and atmospheric beamed ceilings. They share a large well-maintained bathroom with a bath and a walk-in shower. 

The terrace is lovely with a delightful, figure-eight shaped pool where you can enjoy the views, an outdoor lounge area by the pool, an alfresco dining area and a barbecue. The covered porch style of the terrace for alfresco dining is charming. Villa Durero is very comfortable and a quiet little oasis to return to after brilliant days on the beach.  

Villa Durero is located 2.1km from the centre of Moraira in a quiet, sunny, residential area and 3.2km from the wonderful sandy beach of Playa L’Ampolla. Ampolla Beach is family-friendly with climbing apparatus and volleyball at the back of the beach and water sports on offer. The beach is surrounded by a wooded park, many palm trees and a small marsh with many birds. 

There is a summer floating platform with slides and ramps that will delight children. There is also a large beach bar with a restaurant. The stunning Portet Beach is made up of a sandy bay with rocky shelves where you will find many rock pools for hours of fun. Cala Moraig is a stunning cove along the walking route from Benitatxell to Moraira. Cala Portitxolet is a small, hidden private cove with stunning beauty and turquoise water.

Moraira is an old-fashioned charmer, an unspoilt, picturesque resort with 8km of beautiful coastline made up of sandy and rocky beaches and intimate coves. It hosts a vibrant Friday market selling local produce as well as clothes, leather goods and ceramics. If you want to visit another market, you can head to Javea on Thursdays or Benidorm on Wednesdays. Moraira has an impressive marina bobbing with colourful boats and lined by fish restaurants and bars. The cobbled streets and market squares boast many cosy restaurants serving delicious cuisine, some of which are Michelin recommended and some star rated. 

It is a 90-minute drive to Valencia, Spain’s third-largest city. You can explore the intriguing Old Town where you will find one of Spain’s oldest and largest cathedrals, the country’s first bullring, the cutting-edge City of Arts and Sciences complex, home to interactive museums and an outdoor art gallery and you must try some paella while you are in Valencia as it is the birthplace of paella. 

Golf fans will be delighted with the courses available close by. You can play at Club de Golf, Javea, Club de Golf Ifach which is actually in Moraira, Altea Golf Club and several others, enjoying the wonderful scenery, all with the mountainous backdrop.
