Villa Andreia’s location is wonderful, and it can be your very own private villa and pool on the Costa Blanca. Less than five kilometres from the smart town of Moraira and its two beaches, everything you may need or want during your holiday is within easy reach of this villa.
Sleeping four people, the accommodation is small in size but all conveniently located on the ground floor. The double bedroom and twin room both have ceiling fans which will be very welcome after a day in the Mediterranean heat. The kitchen leads out to the lounge-dining area and then you’re greeted by wide patio doors which entice you outside.
The pool terrace is fabulous. And what a view! An expanse of blue sky stretches out in front of you and beyond the terracotta roof tops and palm trees, you have a tantalising glimpse of the sea. Your private pool area is totally encircled by an attractive stone balustrade. There is a sun lounger for everyone around the shaped pool, and a choice of two tables and chairs for an al fresco breakfast or a cooling afternoon drink. 
Beyond the pool terrace, Villa Andreia has its own secret garden! Nestled in amongst flowering plants and palm trees is the most charming gravelled garden with stone table, benches and barbecue! It really is a wonderful spot to escape to, either for a quiet read or family barbecue.
Unbelievably, Villa Andreia has one more hidden gem. From the pool area, there are several steps leading up to the roof terrace. Here, you have an even better view of the sea and it offers yet another corner for you to sit with a drink and admire the view.
Take the road to the coast and within minutes you’ll reach Moraira. What used to be a fishing village is now an upmarket town and popular with both visitors and the locals. There is a wonderful selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and your nearest and largest beach is Playa de l’Ampolla. On the other side of town lies the marina, beyond which you’ll discover the smaller beach at El Portet. It’s less than five kilometres from Villa Andreia to the lovely market town of Moraira. Go shopping along tree-lined avenues or stroll around the marina before choosing which pavement café or restaurant to stop off at for lunch. If you’re feeling active; snorkelling, diving, sailing and windsurfing can all be booked from the marina. The weekly street market is on Friday mornings. Explore the stalls, selling locally grown fruit, nuts and olives or choose from leather, ceramics and jewellery for souvenirs of Costa Blanca.
If you fancy a change of view for sunbathing, leave your lovely private pool behind for a while and head to Playa de l‘Ampolla. It’s a large, white sandy beach which is perfect for building sandcastles, with plenty of beach bars serving ice cream, drinks and snacks. If you’d prefer to escape to somewhere quieter, El Portet is the other side of the marina. It’s a smaller, gently sloping beach in a sheltered bay; ideal for swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean. For another spot of sightseeing, the old town of Benissa is a must. It’s just a twenty-minute drive inland and uphill from Villa Andreia, rising to 275 metres above sea level. About forty years ago, the market square, town hall and narrow streets were restored to their medieval glory. The rustic details will charm you and be sure to sample the local delicacy of either octopus stew of cured sausage while you’re here.
For more thrills and spills, travel half an hour further down the coast towards Benidorm for water parks, zoos and Europe’s largest theme park! Or, if you’re feeling sporty, you have both tennis and golf within five kilometres.Cooled by the sea breeze at the coast but basking in an average of 3,000 sunshine hours a year, your time here on the Costa Blanca will be spent mostly outdoors.
