Villa Ivo is a chic holiday home in the town of Benissa and is ideally located for exploring the cities and villages on the Costa Blanca. Surrounded by beautiful trees and overlooking the city, this villa is also a peaceful, relaxing retreat.
Comfortably furnished with a stylish yet welcoming décor, Villa Ivo offers spacious accommodation for enjoying the perfect family holiday. Balconies, terraces and attractive outside space all provide lovely views over the garden and local area.
Villa Ivo’s rooms are set over two floors and enjoy a harmonious flow throughout. The main living space is open plan, with a lounge that features two large sofas, a fireplace, a television, DVD player and doors that lead out to a balcony terrace with outdoor furniture.
Through an archway is the dining area that’s full of light and had a table that seats up to four people. Back into the lounge and another entrance takes you into the well-equipped kitchen.
Everything you need for preparing and cooking meals is on offer, including a fridge-freezer, oven and hob. There’s also a washing machine for an additional convenient feature.
Another bonus is a second, more informal living room in which to enjoy a pre-dinner drink before moving onto the outdoor dining table on the terrace for an al fresco meal. There’s also a small kitchen within this partially-covered area of the terrace.
The three bedrooms are light and have a comfortable feel. All have a double bed each and two benefits from air-conditioning. There are also three bathrooms, with two having a shower and one that features both a shower and a bathtub.
To the exterior of the villa are a large terrace with a private swimming pool, selection of sun loungers, seating areas and a barbecue. There’s also a small garden with trees and plants for a shady place to relax on a hot day.Benissa is a small resort town that offers picturesque landscapes of tree-dotted hills that are home to sprawling olive groves and fields full of fruit trees. You can also pick up plenty of essentials from the range of shops and supermarkets, with a good choice of restaurants and bars for heading out in the evenings.
It’s also one of the Costa Blanca’s oldest towns, with a history that stretches back to at least medieval times. The main square showcases some beautiful architecture and religious sites of interest. You can also indulge in some retail therapy with charming shops that line the winding streets.
Around 10 minutes from the villa by car is Playa la Fustera. This beach has Blue Flag status, meaning it’s is a safe, clean place to take the family for a day out by the sea. A mostly quiet beach, you can enjoy relaxing on the fine sand or taking a dip in the calm, clear sea.
If you prefer something a bit livelier, hire a kayak or paddle boards for enjoying the waters as a family. A restaurant/is just a short walk away and is a great place to stop for a delicious lunch or dinner.
The village of Benidoleig is under a 30-minute drive away and enjoys a rural, hillside setting with views of the Orba Valley, mountains and sea. The town isn’t short on restaurants, and the numerous bakeries are sure to delight those with a sweet tooth.
The history lovers meanwhile will be itching to explore nearby Cova de las Calaveras. You can take a tour through this prehistoric cave and learn more about how it’s been used by man for thousands of years. Highlights include spotting all fossils along the cave walls and ceiling, as well as all the stalagmites and stalactites.
