The wonderful, elegant Villa Tossal located in La Pedrera, a residential area of the attractive town of Denia. Not only does Denia boast beautiful beaches, it also has an interesting historical centre, remarkable artistic heritage, fabulous natural surroundings and an buzzy marina.
With 5 lovely bedrooms, Villa Tossal is ideal for a large family group of 10 or a group of friends. It is spacious, comfortable and modern with a wonderful garden and private pool. The lush, vibrant planting and stunning mountain views make you feel so secluded and relaxed, away from the stresses of everyday life. The proximity of the beach and entertainment makes this villa an ideal choice for a fun, though relaxed holiday.
The open-plan living and dining room opens to the spacious terrace. With two sets of doors, the living area is lovely and light. It is also very comfortable with squishy sofas, stylish coffee table and an elegant dining table and chairs. The modern kitchen also has a dining table but this is more informal. There is also a separate laundry room.
The outdoor space is where this villa will delight you. It is so private with alfresco dining, a wonderful barbecue, a separate outhouse with a bathroom and shower and an outdoor kitchenette and fridge and a fabulous 5m x 8m pool. With high hedges to protect the privacy of guests, the ambience is wonderful and calming. There is a table tennis table for your enjoyment. The numerous sun loungers await you, just the perfect spot for that holiday read!
One of the 5 bedrooms is located on the ground floor with a double bed and shower room and direct access to the terrace. The additional table and chairs is a perfect spot for that morning cup of coffee! The top floor is home to the remaining 4 beautiful bedrooms. The twin bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and access to the superb furnished balcony overlooking the pool and garden. The other three light and spacious bedrooms each have a double bed and share two bathrooms.
The villa has a basement with an additional living area where you can relax and play games or read. It will be particularly helpful if the holiday group includes children that want some space to play.
There are lots of little touches that you will see at Villa Tossal that make you realise that a lot of thought and care has gone into it so that guests relax and enjoy the space. Denia is located between the spectacular mountains and the beautiful sea, a jewel of the ever-popular Costa Blanca. The town boasts a 15km coastline divided into two different stretches. Las Rotas is characterised by rocky and uncrowded coves and Las Marinas with its long stretches of golden sand. Both offer great fun. There are watersports on Las Marinas including windsurfing, kitesurfing, stand up paddleboarding and kayaking and Las Rotas is fantastic for diving or snorkeling to discover the underwater world. The beautiful promenade is perfect for a stroll or to cycle or run. The promenade starts at the marina and runs along the Marineta Cassiana and Los Rotas beaches and further south to the Cabo San Antonio Natural Reserve. The active marina is the perfect place to rent a boat to discover the coastline or to fish.
Shopping lovers will love Denia. In the areas of Calle Marques de Campo and Baix la Mar you will find many small boutiques and craft shops, just perfect for souvenirs, clothing and accessories.  Every Monday to Friday there is an open air market of fresh produce. There are additional markets selling clothes and a flea market on Fridays. From 17.30 Monday to Friday you can attend the fish auctions at the fish market. They are held just a few minutes after the fishing boats moor in the port. It’s a unique experience!
Denia Castle is a symbol of the city, an unmissable attraction for tourists. It was built in the 11th century on top of a cliff overlooking the coast. The original architectural style was Almohad but over the centuries the castle has undergone various changes with elements added during the Renaissance period. The castle hosts cultural events and dramatised guided tours as well as boasting stunning views of the old town, the coast and the Montgo massif, the most important mountain in the area.
The historical centre is a wonderful mix of modern architecture and ancient neighbourhoods with elegant buildings and old fishermen’s houses, colourful and modern streets and alleys. There are many bars and excellent restaurants in the old seaside district Baix la Mar. The area is shaped by narrow streets and picturesque pastel coloured fishermen’s cottages.
There is so much to do in the area including climbing, paragliding, mountain biking, hiking and also golf. The prestigious 18 hole golf course La Sella is only 12km from the villa.
