A stunning eight-bedroom villa around 4km from Minitas Beach, Villa Villanueva is located on the Casa de Campo resort on the Dominican Republic’s southern coast. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, this villa overlooks one of the resort’s three excellent golf courses, and offers a private pool looking out on the Caribbean Sea.
This villa features some delightful spaces inside and out. There is a spacious covered terrace with comfortable lounge areas looking out on the private swimming pool. A hot tub, outdoor dining area, gazebo and a barbecue are among the many facilities of Villa Villanueva, which also ensures total privacy as part of a gated community.
The accommodation covers two floors, with rooms on the lower floor opening out onto the terrace and enjoying a gorgeous ocean view. Ceiling fans and air-conditioning keep everything perfectly comfortable, making the inside of the house just as nice for relaxing as the terrace areas.
The house has eight bedrooms, including a master with king-size bed, and a further three rooms with queen-size beds. All the bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom and terrace, and several feature two large beds making them ideal for sharing.

Casa de Campo is an especially well-equipped resort, and is located just east of the city of La Romana. Its marina, less than 3km from Villa Villanueva is just one of its highlights. There are numerous tennis courts, a gym and other sports facilities, and many restaurants and bars serving excellent food and drink. This villa is particularly close to the beautiful village of Altos de Chavon, an amazing recreation of a European-style village in the 16th century – you will find it hard to believe when you discover its true age.An absolutely stunning Dominican Republic resort, Casa de Campo occupies an idyllic location on the Caribbean Sea. One of the big highlights of Casa de Campo is Altos de Chavon, a modern-day recreation of a 16th-century European village. It really does feel like you have been transported to another place and time, and the setting makes for a very special day or night out. The impressive 5,000-seater amphitheatre has hosted gigs from the biggest names in the business since Frank Sinatra opened the place less than 40 years ago.
Tennis courts, an equestrian centre and soccer school are among the sports facilities you can enjoy at the resort. It’s perfect for water-sports fans too, with kayaking, snorkelling, and deep-sea fishing all available. For your cardio workout, a fitness centre is fully equipped and has professionals on hand to create a programme just for you.
If you’re a golfer, you may already have heard of the Teeth of the Dog – this course is highly ranked by the pros, and offers gorgeous views of the Caribbean Sea at several of its holes.
