Each of the three air-conditioned bedrooms is en suite and features homely touches and quality essentials chosen by the attentive owners. The twin bedroom has French windows opening up to the covered terrace with glorious views whilst upstairs the master bedroom is sure to impress with its super king-size bed, luxurious bathroom and own study area.
The immaculately maintained terraced gardens are a pure joy, full of summer roses, fruit trees and a vegetable garden where you can help yourself to tomatoes, courgettes and whatever else may be growing that year. There’s a covered terrace surrounding the villa where you can relax by the sweet-scented jasmine and be mesmerised by the mountain views or dine al-fresco under the plane trees in the delightful pergola. Enjoy long summer days by the pristine swimming pool where you can gaze at views as far as the Mediterranean.  
The charming and historic market town of Vence is just a five-minute drive away with its lovely restaurants and cafes, art galleries and the beautiful Chapelle du Rosarie, designed by Matisse. Art-lovers will also adore the famous village of St Paul de Vence, 7km away, with its Fondation Maeght museum or head to the perched and picturesque village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup, just a ten-minute drive away.
The coast beckons within half an hour with the beaches of Cagnes-sur-Mer and Villeneuve-Loubet so near or head to Antibes, Cannes or Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat for idyllic coastlines and fine places to visit. The grand city of Nice is another perfect day out or you could even venture as far as Monaco and beyond past the Italian border.
Alternatively, explore the countryside and swim from the rocks or admire the waterfalls near Gourdon, taste fantastic Rosé wines in local vineyards or admire fields of lavender across this part of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. Villa Vanille is undoubtedly a fine villa with many elegant and beautiful touches in this wonderful part of southern France. Set in the beautiful interior of the French Riviera, Villa Vanille is just 25km from Nice in the Alpes Maritimes department of southern France, only 12km from the Côte d’Azur coastline.
It’s just a five-minute drive to the famous town of Vence (2.5km) with its historic charm, daily markets, art galleries and wonderful restaurants and cafes, especially around the atmospheric Place Clemenceau. Be sure to visit the beautiful Chapelle du Rosarie (also known as the Chapelle Matisse), designed and built by Henri Matisse.
Just slightly further south is the idyllic village of St Paul de Vence (7km) with its famous Fondation Maeght museum and lots of charming shops, cafes and restaurants including the well-known La Colombe D’Or. The village hosts delightful fruit and vegetable markets and is a very pleasant place to spend a day. Tourrettes-sur-Loup (6km) is another incredibly stunning perched village with many charming craft studios and shops plus a weekly market.
Cagnes-sur-Mer (11km) has a picturesque old town featuring Renoir’s house, Les Collettes, now a lovely museum. There’s also the popular Polygone Riviera shopping centre and the Hippodrome, a horse racing track. Above all, families can enjoy the 2.5km stretch of coastline backed by a promenade with plenty of places to eat plus some good watersports on offer.
There are also beaches further towards Saint Laurent or Villeneuve-Loubet or explore the coastline around Antibes, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Cannes or as far as Théoule-sur-Mer, all great places to visit in their own right! There are also boat trips leaving from various ports in the French Riviera such as Golfe-Juan or Cannes to Saint-Tropez, Monaco and Sainte-Marguerite Island.  
The lovely city of Nice (25km) is also a perfect day trip or continue along the coast as far as Monaco (46km) and across the Italian border to Ventimiglia (65km) in around ninety minutes by car.
There are some amazing hikes and walking routes across this region, including marked trails between Vence and St Paul de Vence as well as towards the Malvan valley. Golf courses, horse-riding, cycling, fishing and canoeing are also activities available nearby.
Nature lovers are in the perfect location to appreciate the rugged hinterland near Gourdon (26km) where you can enjoy amazing views of the Côte d’Azur. Swim from the rocks in the Gorges du Loup and admire the amazing waterfalls nearby. Caussols (36km) is another magical place to visit inland.
