Villa Morpheus offers bright and contemporary living in a fantastic location just a short drive from the gorgeous village of Villeneuve-Loubet and the glistening beaches of the French Riviera.
Ideal for relaxing in the sunshine of southern France, this fine holiday home is great for family or friends wanting to spend quality time together as well as explore the delights of the Côte d’Azur. Inside, the spacious living and dining area has French windows leading straight out to the pool terrace whilst a contemporary kitchen is perfectly positioned so that al-fresco dining is a breeze.  
The four bedrooms have been designed with stylish simplicity offering light, comfort and smart en-suite shower rooms. Two doubles and a twin are on the ground floor whilst upstairs a master bedroom has pretty blue shuttered windows looking out to the pool and surrounding trees.  
There’s certainly a Mediterranean feel to the outside grounds with jasmine draping over one of the pretty covered terraces, lovely for a morning coffee. The swimming pool is a joy and there is plenty of room for leisurely poolside lunches by the barbecue.
In a pleasant setting with other villas dotted along the surrounding hillsides, you are just seconds from the road connecting Grasse and Cagnes-sur-Mer, meaning you can reach both the beach and beautiful countryside for glorious days out. The enchanting hilltop village of Villeneuve-Loubet is just 8km away, with its beach and marina just a little further whilst Antibes and its fantastic coastline is less than half an hour by car.
Visit the historic town of Valbonne on a Friday morning for its wonderful morning market followed by an afternoon exploring one of the many idyllic villages dotted across these gorgeous landscapes including Biot, Opio and Mougins.
Then there’s Nice, Monaco and Cannes where you can soak up the glitz of the Côte d’Azur as well as the many prestigious golf courses of this region. Perhaps you’d prefer long walks through the Valmasque forest, wild swimming near the Gorges du Loup or watersports along the coast – there is something for everyone in this captivating corner of southern France.  Villa Morpheus can be found in a residential area just a 10km drive from the glistening beaches of the French Riviera.
This is a great location as you are conveniently close to the main road which leads either to the lovely village of Villeneuve-Loubet (8km) and its beaches or further inland towards Grasse (14km). Along this road you will also find a couple of restaurants, a bakery and supermarket, a pharmacy and other useful amenities, around 2km away.
Spend time in the charming hilltop village of Villeneuve-Loubet and explore its steep, flower filled lanes – Wednesday and Saturday mornings are lovely times to visit with the market taking place. Just outside the village, via car or a 3km-long walking path, the coast features blue-flag beaches, watersports and boat hire a little further at the striking marina in Baie des Anges.
Cagnes-sur-Mer is also close by with its long beach backed by a promenade and characterful old town, Haut-de-Cagnes, with its hilltop castle and lovely views. The racecourse is another favourite spot where horse-racing lovers can watch races in the day or night.
Other fantastic towns along the coast waiting to be explored include Antibes with its gorgeous walled town and glamourous marina, Juan-les-Pins, known for its great beaches, vibrant café-bars and watersports, as well as Cannes, a fantastic day out whether visiting its old quarter, port, boutiques or taking a boat trip out to the more tranquil Île Sainte-Marguerite.
Heading inland, the historic town of Valbonne is a must on a Friday morning when you can soak up the ambience of the weekly market and Grasse is another superb day out with its gorgeous town centre and perfume factories.
Other idyllic villages include Mougins and Biot whilst art-lovers should spend some time in St Paul de Vence, home to the Fondation Maeght and Vence featuring Matisse’s La Chapelle du Rosaire.
For sporting types, there are so many golf courses along this part of the French Riviera – Golf Grande Bastide is just 8km away whilst Royal Mougins Golf Resort is about half an hour by car. Keen walkers can follow trails through the Valmasque forest between Valbonne and Biot or head further inland towards the stunning landscapes of Gourdon. Naturally there are also many cycling, mountain biking and horse-riding opportunities across the Côte d’Azur and its hinterland.
