South Kensington Mews is a sleek, flawlessly stylish home offering immaculate interiors brimming with designer flair and playful twists, within a charming original mews street set within one of London’s most prestigious areas.
The strikingly proportioned living space is a trendy blend of retro furnishings, uber-modern and sleek touches, oversized poster art, and chic atrium style height with a mezzanine level.
This sumptuous space is immaculately styled, offering modern opulence and effortlessly flamboyant and lavish interiors, whilst being “home-like.” Bright and citrus-toned pops of yellow and orange offer a playful feel.
Indoor and outdoor living blend seamlessly, with a charming, incredibly bright lounge backing onto a garden wall. Finished with charisma and bold, cutting-edge style, the sheer volume of this space is extravagant, whilst it makes for an ideal environment for socialising, offering naturally separate spaces blending gracefully.
The state-of-the-art kitchen is worthy of an interiors magazine, with slick breakfast bar and glossy surfaces, this charismatic space is ideal for informal dining and evening drinks, framed by chic floor to ceiling glass and designer lighting.
There is a separate “snug,” which is of less commanding proportions, offering cosy fabrics and plush textures, charming skylights and generous lounging potential.
South Kensington Mews has glamorous touches; plush velvet upholstery, movie-star opulence and lavish designer flair against the backdrop of a sedate and muted palette. Full of surprising twists and playful touches, this home makes for a great party or entrainment pad!
The roof terrace is vivacious and seductive, decked out with brightly upholstered lounge furniture: an ideal nook for an intimate drink or vibrant group cocktails overlooking the Kensington rooftops!
Elvaston Mews can accommodate seven to eight guests across four bedrooms; the bedrooms are chic, tasteful and gorgeously restful with their soft, tranquil tones, hotel-grade bathrooms and characterful touches by way of antique furnishings and interesting art and artefacts.
This home offers a resplendent, light-filled environment of bold designer choices and edgy, seductive interiors; a very grown-up and glamorous toned pad with great entertainment potential, in the heart of one of the capital’s most dynamic neighbourhoods.Elvaston Mews is set back from the bustling, tourist hotspots, within a bijou original mews street, offering the very best of a local neighbourhood, along with endless opportunities just a few moments beyond in the heart of London’s Royal Borough where both modern culture and history jostle side by side.
This pretty mews street s framed by an elaborate and curved archway supported by two ornate columns; dating back to the 1830’s these homes would have been working stables, very possibly for Rothman’s Shire horses.
In the heart of the Queens Gate Grid, Elvaston Mews enjoys a peaceful setting with the added bits of all the best parts of South Kensington on its doorstep.
Around South Kensington station, there is a pedestrianised area very popular with tourists which offers a huge choice of informal eateries; for cupcakes, the Hummingbird Bakery on Old Brompton Road has become an iconic attraction!
This vibrant area is home to some of London’s finest museums: the V&A, the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum; guests should time their visits around off-peak times to avoid the school holiday crush!
As well as the world-renowned museums, there are many, fascinating and intriguing lesser-known museums and galleries. The Design Museum is set in a grade ll listed building in Kensington High Street; the building has been transformed by a team led by the well-known architect John Pawson – from fashion to furniture, from product to graphic design, this is an international designers’ hub.
Eighteen Stafford Terrace is just a few moments walk away, for a virtually untouched and immaculately preserved slice of Victorian living, one of the only genuine Victorian townhouses remaining, it has become something of a hidden national treasure.
Located on the edge of Holland Park, Leighton House Museum is one of the most opulent museums in London; the ornate nineteenth-century home of Lord Leighton is decorated with domed ceilings, gilded walls, flamboyant artwork and fountains. This is a small scale museum which makes for a nice afternoon’s activity, whilst Holland Park itself is small, little known by tourists, and offers something of a secret escape into woodlands, wild ponds and pavilions; set in one of London’s most elegant areas, it makes for a romantic stroll or day out as a family.
High Street Kensington is just moments away, which offers a wide array of high street boutiques and a flagship Whole Foods store, whilst Notting Hill is a short bus ride up the road, and for a treat, The Orangery at Kensington Palace Gardens offers an unapologetically decadent and elegant dining experience!
