Villa Paichi Spain
Holiday Home Rental Description
Villa Paichi is the perfect villa for two families wanting to holiday together. It would also be ideal for an extended family. With 5 bedrooms in total, the villa sleeps 10 guests and is comprised of two accommodations, each with their own living and dining space and kitchens. They share a wonderful terrace, alfresco dining, outdoor lounging and a stunning swimming pool. The villa is situated in a lovely residential area, 2.4km from the centre of Moraira and just over 2km from the beach. This gorgeous villa boasts terrific mountain, countryside and sea views.
Moraira is unspoilt and very picturesque with cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. It is classy with a vibrant marina full of luxury yachts and fishing boats and lined with fabulous restaurants. The stunning 8km of dramatic coastline is made up of sandy and rocky beaches as well as secluded, hidden coves. Moraira has a busy, colourful Friday market selling local produce, clothes, leather goods and ceramics.
On the upper floor, Villa Paichi has a charming open plan living, dining and kitchen area, which is very bright, illuminated by the many windows. The villa is warm and inviting with comfortable furnishings and lots of wood featured. Arches open the living space to the kitchen, which is very attractive with intricate pine cupboards. There is direct access to the stunning terrace and pool. Also on this level are three lovely twin bedrooms, one with an ensuite shower room and also a separate shower room. The twin beds can be put together to make one large bed.
On the lower ground floor, there is another whole apartment, equally attractive and also with access to the terrace and pool. Again, the living, dining and kitchen space is open plan and very bright and cheerful. The kitchen is similar to the one upstairs. There are two bedrooms in this apartment, one delightful twin and a bunk room. There is a well-maintained shower room to share.
The terrace is very spacious with a lovely 10m x 5m swimming pool, covered alfresco dining with a barbecue, an outdoor shower and an outdoor lounge area that fits everyone in the holiday group. There are splendid views of the hilly countryside and of the sea in the distance. You will certainly relax in this villa.
Villa Paichi is situated in a lovely, tranquil residential area, 2.1km from the beach and 2.4km from the centre of Moraira. It offers seclusion and relaxation in modern comfort. The set up of two living spaces gives some independence if you are travelling as two families.
The closest beach to the villa is the lovely, family-friendly Playa de Portet. Moraira’s headland shelters the beautiful sandy and rocky creek perfectly. The stunning beach offers a silver sandy area with rocks either side that are great for snorkelling around. There are plenty of places for lunch and drinks. The turquoise water is calm and shallow, perfect for small children. You can also visit the other local beaches such as Playa de l’Ampollo with its inflatable water playground, pedalos, volleyball and playground, Platgetes Beach, the rocky Cala Moraig and Cala Portitxolet.
A trip to Guadalest is really worthwhile while you are staying at Villa Paichi. The windy roads will take you through pine forests, citrus groves, nispera and almond trees, which all makes for a pleasant journey. Guadalest is tiny but very picturesque. The pretty town is divided into El Arrabel, the old town and the quarter of the ancient castle, San Jose. Both parts are connected by a tunnel hewn into the rock. Once upon a time, Guadalest was only accessible on donkey’s backs.
The remains of the old city wall loom over the attractive narrow streets and a clock tower is perched on its own rock nearby. There are some interesting small but exquisite museums, a large reservoir reflecting the surrounding mountains where you can have a stroll or take a short boat ride and of course there is the 17th-century castle San Jose. The Museum of Ribera Girona is a museum of contemporary art and architecture reached through a magic garden.
The Museum of Salt and Pepper Shakers is fascinating, with over 20000 shakers from all over the world. There are many unique small shops selling decorative items as well as hand made clothing. You can buy nisperas, and homemade marmalades or mountain honey to take home. There are also plenty of coffee and lunch stops.
