As you approach the Spanish-style, white stucco exterior of this Hollywood home, you could be forgiven for imagining that a traditional interior awaits you at the top of the steps to the front door. Well, you couldn’t be more wrong. Across three floors, guests will benefit from a thoroughly modern space, with natural light cascading in through the huge windows and bouncing pleasingly off the dark parquet flooring. We have a lot of time for the wood stone granite countertops in the kitchen and the bright dining area that’s surrounded by views of towering palm trees. Speaking of decent vantage points, this address is blessed with great vistas of the city from its multi-level decks on which you can soak up the LA sun from the comfort of the hot tub or a lounger. You’ll certainly find that there’s an air of peaceful seclusion here, but when you want to up the ante slightly, Hollywood Boulevard is just over ten minutes’ walk away, while the LA County Museum of Art takes fifteen minutes by car.
