Impeccably designed by a talented polymath architect/chef (who doesn’t have a side hustle these days?), this home is beautifully crafted with a kitchen that is dressed to impress. The entire house was built with the natural environment in mind, taking full advantage of the California light and sea breeze. Everything has been thoughtfully sourced, with top-notch furnishings and artwork. We were besotted by the front garden, where you’re free to use any herbs and vegetables that you find to enhance your culinary adventures. While you’re not right in the heart of vibrant Venice, you don’t have to walk far before you’re on the mile-long stretch of independent boutiques and fantastic restaurants that line Abbot Kinney Boulevard, striding along the bustling boardwalk, or laying out on the beach.

* You’re not in central Venice here and though not far, you’re a bit away from the buzz
* The bunk room is meant for children (there are bunk beds and a double futon for two further children, or one adult).
* The maximum capacity of this home is up to eight including children or five adults
* Bicycles are included free of charge
* Child-friendly amenities such as a cot, highchair, potty, stairgate and dinnerware are available upon request
* Laundry facilities are outside the home on the back porch
