The stuff of desert holiday dreams, this sleek home is cradled by a landscape of boulders and Joshua trees. With a minimal but luxe interior and large windows, the views take centre stage. You’ll find yourself slowing down here, sitting quietly as the sun goes down, or watching hawks fly overhead. Outside, there’s a real desert retreat feel with the saltwater tub and open-air shower. To add to that, the hosts offer in-home massage, reiki, and yoga. If you can tear yourself away from your little oasis, you’re less than 20 minutes from the hiking trails of Joshua Tree National Park, but if you never left, we wouldn’t blame you. It’s in the evening we love it most here. The terrace twinkles with festoon lights, the saltwater tub seems particularly inviting, and the darkness of the Hi-Desert makes for the best stargazing of your life.
