Inside is like being in a house in the Spanish hills, resplendent with terracotta tiles, rustic Bohemian wall decorations (we particularly love the wicker circles) and a striking mosaic fireplace that exudes the feel of Mediterranean beach towns. A huge skylight brightens up the prep space in the kitchen, with a retro clementine fridge bringing a spark of colour. Paradise continues outdoors – take a dip in the backyard’s pool, or bask on a sun lounger on the deck. In the front garden, a firepit awaits in prime position for nights of stargazing into endless desert. You might never want to leave this secluded hideaway – but if you do, hop on one of the complimentary bikes and arrive at the shops and restaurants of La Quinta in just a few minutes.
