White walls blend with modern greys and creams and the furnishings are all plush and new. The huge sofa is the centrepiece of the sociable open-plan living space, along with a dining table and well-equipped kitchen. There’s a distinct boho flavour to the styling, with throws and rugs inside and a couple of woven swing seats to snuggle into on the terrace. We love the vast master bedroom, with its own walk-in wardrobe and chic en-suite. But the chances are you’ll be here for the outdoor space, which centres around a heated pool and a sunken hot tub. Pour yourself a glass of something cold and sit back in your private garden, admiring views over the nearby mountains. Here you’ll be just minutes away from the hiking trails and golf courses of La Quinta, with Joshua Tree and the Coachella Valley within a half-hour drive.
