Rent House Mindaro Godetia Morongo Valley
Holiday Home Rental Description
Originally built in 1965 but remodelled in his own creative style by the previous owner, ‘Cowboy Ed’, this place has to be seen to be believed. Complete with his own art installations, an equestrian area so you can bring along your horses, and a chicken coop that’s more luxurious than some cabins, it’s all set on ten acres of pristine land southwest of Pioneertown. Tucked away down dirt roads, it feels like another world, with fabulous desert views in every direction. Inside, you’ll want to spend time exploring this unique home’s quirky decorative pieces – think bull horns over the doors, cowboy hats, lasso ropes and horse blankets. Recently renovated, it’s not as rustic as it sounds – with an excellent kitchen, modern appliances and a mix of vintage furniture and contemporary pieces. Grab a bottle from the wine fridge and make your way to one of the outdoor seating areas to watch the sunset over the desert hills. You’ll have plenty to do locally, with acres to explore, Pioneertown twenty minutes by car and the west entrance to Joshua Tree just a half-hour drive from your door. Or ask the host to arrange a massage, sound bath, private chef experience, or yoga instructor.
