Right on the edge of the Los Padres National Forest (and with all the great hiking that comes with it), this home has everything you could ask for. Sunsets and sunrises are predictably spectacular, but the view of the national forest is gorgeous at any time of day. Then, as night comes in, the sky lights up. On a clear night, you can see the Milky Way from the luxury of the hot tub. The centre of Ojai is only a five-minute drive away, but with the sense of seclusion, it might as well be hours. And if you want to reduce your carbon footprint, it has great eco-credentials too, from solar power to well-drawn water.
