A five-minute barefooted plod from Windandsea’s surfer beaches, this home is a chilled spot to hang ten after a day wave chasing. Set on the top floor of an apartment, the plot’s sash windows and open living-kitchen room give a sense of space for groups, whether it’s cosying up by the fire on cold nights or preparing something delicious in the kitchen. While the home has clearly been set up for rentals – think lots of white walls and minimal decoration – everything has been done to a high standard. It’s also so close to the beach, that it’s an easy stroll back for forgotten towels and snacks. When you’re done playing in the San Diego sunshine, light up the BBQ in the fairy light-strewn back garden or head out to one of the sought after restaurants on your doorstep.
