If you’re after a taste of the laid-back luxury that’s synonymous with the city of LA, staying in this villa that was built way back in 1935 is a pretty good way to go about it.
There are a wealth of incredible amenities both inside and out,m but It makes sense to start with the latter given the glorious climate that the locale enjoys. Here, it’s possible to pass many a happy hour in the sunshine splashing about in the huge swimming pool with its own fountain and slide, shooting hoops on the basketball court or cooking up a storm in the outdoor kitchen.
At some point, you’ll eventually have to retreat inside and you won’t be disappointed when that moment comes. Everything about the interior screams contemporary glamour, from the modern artworks and tufted furnishings to the attention-grabbing lighting and gloriously sleek kitchen. We’re particularly fond of the large, mosaic-tiled tub in the master bathroom, too.
The surrounding area is a lot more residential than many parts of LA, but there are still points of interest nearby, including the Great Wall of Los Angeles. That being said, it doesn’t take too long to drive to Franklin Canyon Park if you fancy a hike, or the bright lights of West Hollywood if it’s shops, restaurants and nightlife you’re after.
