Rent Apartment Flame Papaw Hancock Park
Holiday Home Rental Description
In the same year that this craftsman’s house was built in Hancock Park, LA’s most famous landmark was also erected in Griffith Park. Today, both are still standing and from this one, you can see the Hollywood Sign from the front garden. Much like stars of the screen in their later years, this home doesn’t look its age thanks to the bright white walls and the plush furnishings to be found inside, but there are still signs of its history if you look closely enough — particularly in the kitchen, with the wooden-vaulted ceiling and vintage-style oven.
Out the back, you’ll find a charming terracotta-hued terrace area that’s just the ticket for alfresco feasts as the sun goes down. One thing that certainly hasn’t changed in the years since this property was constructed is the enviability of the location. Right in the middle of the city, you can drive to Santa Monica beach in under twenty minutes, while in the other direction, the bright lights of Hollywood can be reached in a little over five.
