The mountain views here are nothing short of spectacular – you’ll find it hard to tear your eyes away – and the house itself is pretty special. Interiors are tastefully contemporary, with high ceilings and large sliding doors opening from the living space to a sun-soaked lounging area.
No doubt you’ll spend most of your time outside, either by the private pool, or lolling in the jacuzzi while soaking up the rugged vistas. Days are best-spent hiking, exploring Old Town La Quinta or practising your swing at one of the top-rated golf courses nearby. After sundown, wrap yourself in a blanket and sit back on the outdoor sofa for an evening of stargazing. The night sky is so star-studded here that the Milky Way actually looks milky.
