The home is located in the exclusive Racket Club West, and is just a five-minute drive from the restaurants and boutiques of Downtown Palm Springs. “Back yard” is a bit of a misnomer as the outdoor space wraps three-quarters of the way around the house, giving you ample space to make the most of the sunny desert climate. The long, rectangular swimming pool is topped with a sunken Jacuzzi and a fire pit provides a little warmth after the sun sets (and sunsets are particularly magical here against the palms and mountains). While outdoors the decor is holiday-fun with stripey loungers and parasols, inside it’s a sleek, calm haven of pristine white and stone-grey. The hanging lamps above the marble-style bar are like works of art, and faux-fur cushions and throws add a touch of softness. Hours of fun can be had at the ping pong table, or settle in front of the fire with a good book.
