Built in 1958 but recently renovated by midcentury doyen Christopher Kennedy, this gorgeous house has five bedrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a 55-inch flat-screen TV (to watch those classic movies), a fantastic fireplace and one of the most luxurious bathtubs we’ve ever seen. The fifth bedroom is out in the guest house and offers privacy for additional guests with its separate location in the pool yard. The guest house features its own wet bar, sink, mini-fridge and a large en-suite bathroom. Whichever suite you bag yourself, we think you’ll spend most of your stay admiring this slice of desert bliss from the outside. The garden is immaculately landscaped, with palm trees and tropical fauna, plus there’s a putting green, fire pit and jacuzzi. Oh, and we haven’t forgotten the swimming pool – a glorious oversized splash of aquamarine which is where you’ll find us all day long, on a lilo with a mojito in hand. When you can tear yourself away from it all, your location in the highly desired Las Palmas community in Palm Springs, means you’re just minutes away from downtown shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
