Directly opposite Mission Beach, this apartment is tripping distance from the sand and surf, with forgotten towels and packed lunches in easy reach during the day. The home is also in a great spot for cyclists and walkers; the 12-mile Mission Bay Bike Route passes close by the house and a large promenade follows the coastline for evening strolls. After long days making the most of the surrounding area, it’s back to the house to watch the sunset from the lounge’s large windows. It’s a little cosy for six adults in the compact kitchen-diner. But upstairs is the real scene-stealer; a rooftop deck looks over the Pacific Ocean and once the sun dips, there’s a fire pit for keeping warm.
