Eixample is known for its art nouveau architecture, and you could spend an eternity just wandering through the beautiful streets, stopping off at the indie boutiques and upmarket restaurants. Fans of Gaudi’s architecture can stroll over to the nearby Casa Batlló, then visit Casa Milà and the incredible Sagrada Familia, just a little further away. If you fancy a day on the sand then you can hop on the bus and head down to the beach, or spend an afternoon getting lost in the charming Gothic Quarter, also just a bus ride away.
