Apartments among Gaudí's masterpieces and villas with pools along the coast, from Sitges to the Costa Brava
As featured in
Barcelona is one of the great cities of Europe, and one of the few with a beach in the middle of it. Gaudí's Sagrada Família, Park Güell and Casa Batlló, the medieval lanes of the Gothic Quarter, the grid of the Eixample with its modernist façades, and a food scene that ranges from market counters to some of the best restaurants in Spain: there is enough here for a long stay.
Our Barcelona collection runs to 400+ properties, from elegant apartments in the Eixample and the old town to villas with private pools in the hills and along the coast towards Sitges and the Costa Brava.
Here is where to stay and how to make the most of the city.

Casa SantFelip Barcelona: Luxury 1-Bedroom Apartment with Seaview – Gothic Quarter Barcelona1 bedroomsThe Eixample for modernist architecture and shopping, the Gothic Quarter and El Born for history and nightlife, and Sitges and the Costa Brava for a villa by the sea.

The Sagrada Família, still being completed more than a century after work began, is the city's great landmark, and Gaudí's Park Güell, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera are close behind. The Gothic Quarter and El Born are full of medieval lanes, squares and tapas bars, and the Boqueria market off the Ramblas is a feast for the eyes. Our concierge can arrange timed tickets and private guides.

Sitges, around 40 minutes south of the city, has an old town of whitewashed lanes, a long string of beaches and a lively restaurant scene. Villas in the hills behind it combine pools and sea views with an easy run into Barcelona and the vineyards of the Penedès, home of cava.

North of Barcelona, the Costa Brava is a coast of rocky coves, pine trees and fishing villages such as Cadaqués, Calella de Palafrugell and Tamariu. Inland, medieval villages and Girona's old town are close by, and Figueres has the Dalí Theatre-Museum.

Barcelona eats late and well: tapas at the bar, seafood at Barceloneta, Catalan classics such as pa amb tomàquet and crema catalana, and cava from the Penedès. Spring and early autumn are the best times to visit; Montserrat, with its mountain monastery, is a fine day trip. Our concierge can arrange a private chef, food tours, wine tasting and restaurant reservations.
