Xanadu Princess is impressive from the moment you walk through the door. The mirrored hallway leads you to the living room and kitchen, a joint space dominated by dark colours and soft metallics. There’s attention to comfort as well, so even though the bedrooms aren’t huge, the beds themselves are very comfortable, and the memory foam pillows make it feel like your head is floating on air. Directly outside is Gran Via, one of the main arteries through the city, so it’s very convenient (if a little loud).

*We found a few scuff marks on the walls, nothing major, but worth knowing about
*The bedrooms are all quite small, and there isn’t much space around the beds
*Gran Via is a busy road, so you can expect to hear some traffic noise from below
