Villa Lamyai is a luxurious 2 bedroom, courtyard pool villa at the excellent Kanda Pool Villas Resort, in Bophut, Koh Samui. The excellent Kanda Pool Villas Resort, quietly nestled in a lush, serene cove, is very close to the buzzy entertainment that Bophut has to offer. Villa Lamyai is a lovely tranquil oasis. The fabulous, spacious master suite boasts a sensational four-poster bed and an immaculate bathroom with a bath, rain shower and two vanity units. The second bedroom is also equally gorgeous with a similar en-suite bathroom. The bedroom is across the courtyard rather than interconnecting. Between the two bedrooms are the superb open plan living and dining area. It boasts striking artworks as well as elegant, dark wood furnishings. The kitchen is very smart and offers a full range of European amenities as well as a breakfast bar. 

The lounge opens to a covered relaxation and dining area and the stunning courtyard. It boasts an excellent private swimming pool and luscious planting. You can find a lovely sunny spot to lounge and pick up your holiday read or enjoy the canopied day bed. Private in-villa chefs can prepare delicious meals if you do not want to leave your villa. 

The amazing concierge team are on-hand to arrange private pilates sessions, private in-villa cooking courses, babysitting services, party arrangements, children’s activities, tours and excursions, boat trips to Koh Phanghan and the Ang Thong National Marine Park, snorkelling tours, diving excursions and courses or private sunset yachting cruises for a supplement as required. Kanda Pool Villas boast a selection of luxury 1,2,3 and 4 bedroom villas in a fabulous resort, in Bophut on Koh Samui’s north-east coast. Koh Samui is known for its amazing palm-fringed beaches, coconut groves and dense, mountainous rainforest as well as the increasingly luxurious resorts and posh spas. 

Bophut is famous for its atmospheric Fisherman’s Village. It is located roughly in the centre of the Bophut’s breathtaking stretch of white sandy beach. The Fisherman’s village is a charming warren of narrow roads lined with old wooden Chinese shop-houses and interspersed with modern, colourful buildings. The Friday Bophut Walking Street night market is lively and colourful, with ample shopping opportunities and street stalls offering delicious snacks.  

The golden Big Budda is located at the Wat Phra Yai Temple on a tiny island connected to Koh Samui by a causeway. Visitors pack the temple with their cameras to photograph the striking 12 metres tall Buddha. 

Shopping is excellent in Koh Samui. You can browse the night markets, the gorgeous floating markets or the luxury malls. There are many stalls outside the temples and close to tourist attractions selling colourful clothes. Pomelo is a beloved Thai fashion brand similar to Zara with excellent work-wear, exercise clothes and dressy basics. 

Brightly coloured Thai silk products are in abundance, including clothes, ties and scarves, cushions and pillows, table cloths and runners, bags and wallets. If you have room in your suitcase or want to ship them home, you will also find plenty of Balinese and Thai carvings and items of furniture. Coconut oil is available everywhere. You will find many organic products plus coconut sweets, coconut wind chimes and coconut salad spoons. 

Visitors usually visit the famous Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks. They are fascinating rock formations at the southern end of Lamai Beach, often called the Grandpa and Grandma Rocks. They have been a source of giggles since they were discovered as they look like genitalia. The Namuang Waterfalls are worth a trip through the central, mountainous jungle interior.
