There are three bedrooms, all beautifully decorated. The master bedroom features a double bed, luxury en-suite and an outdoor terrace. Accessed through double doors from the room, this is your spot for relaxing at the beginning and end of the day. The second room includes a double and single bed and has the use of the main bathroom, whilst the third room is separate from the house. Comprising a double bed, en-suite bathroom and its own fabulous glass-fronted terrace. This patio area is designed for you to admire the very best of your views out to sea.
Moving outside, you’ll discover your covered outdoor dining area, perfectly shaded for enjoying breakfast, lunch and dinner al fresco. Take your pick of sun loungers from the three sun terraces, sit back and take in your beautiful surroundings. The gardens around your private pool are carefully planted within lava stone walls and mature palm trees provide welcome shade.
The pool is attractively shaped and irresistible, against the whitewashed walls and terrace. Villa Amaranta’s luxurious outdoor space is totally private, with each section feeling intimate and very much yours to enjoy. Cool off with a swim or play all day long with the family, breaking off only for mealtimes and sunbathing. Bliss.
If you can drag yourself away from the luxury of Villa Amaranta, a ten-minute walk will bring you to Puerto del Carmen’s old town and harbour. Another five minutes and you’ll arrive at Playa Grande. Every ingredient for the perfect holiday is here – restaurants, shops, golden sandy beach and endless activities for the children. A ten-minute walk brings you to the lovely old town and harbour at Puerto del Carmen. Head here for a pleasant stroll around the waterfront, stopping off for a drink at one of the pavement cafes or bars. The town centre boasts an abundance of restaurants to choose from and the Biosfera Plaza shopping centre offers much more than shops. An array of bars, eateries, an open-air cinema and even mini-golf are all to be discovered at this entertainment venue.
Venture five minutes outside the town centre, along Avenue de las Playas, for the long stretch of golden sand that is Playa Grande. Umbrellas and sun loungers are available to hire, so you can stay as long as you like on this beautiful beach. As well as building sandcastles and swimming in the sea, the family can also try out water sports from the beach and inflatable rides. Take a water taxi across the bay to upmarket Puerto Calero. Settle into a restaurant for a serious spot of people and boat watching, before exploring this delightful harbour town.
Golfers can hone their swing at Lanzarote Golf; a good public golf course just three kilometres from Villa Amaranta and the whole family can enjoy a day out at the Rancho Texas Amusement Park. It’s an animal park and water park rolled into one! If you wish to explore the entire island, you’d need to hire a car. But if the sights and sounds of Puerto del Carmen, and the visitor attractions accessible within a bus journey or water taxi trip seem enough for you, Villa Amaranta is ideally situated for a car-free holiday.
