Take the twelve-minute journey into Old Town La for a day of walking through exquisite whitewashed buildings with red-tiled roofs reminiscent of Carmel’s and Santa Barbara’s hundred-year-old missions and historic homes. Stop for a bite to eat at a nice cafe, or go to the extremely popular Sunday Certified Farmers Market, and maybe even catch some live music while you’re there.
Back at home, the amazing vistas of the San Jacinto mountains and golf course, flanked by swaying palm trees, are especially glorious at sunset – and even more so when the flames of the poolside fire pits flicker into the night sky. Calm your mind with a dip in the turquoise saltwater or a soak in the hot tub before testing that fortuitous streak to the test with a game of pool or ping pong. And when it’s time to call it a night, you’ll be thanking your lucky stars in a four-poster bed with the softest bed linen you’ve ever slept in.
