When you arrive at the villa, the open plan nature of the rooms means you can glide between the indoor and outdoor living spaces. Sliding glass doors frame each room, opening to create a seamless barrier between the two, with the pool reflections dancing their way across the villa’s walls and sunlight streaming into even the furthest corners. There is one spacious bedroom, designed to offer everything you need for a fabulous stay; think long lazy mornings in bed watching the sun ignite the landscape, bringing to life the vivid green of the surrounding trees and blue azure of the sea. With storage on the two adjacent walls you can unpack and make yourselves at home, settling into the slow holiday pace. There is also a spacious bathroom equipped with a rain shower and bathtub, perfect for a long soak at the end of each day.
The villa’s social living spaces are spread between a lounge and the outdoor terrace. Inside, high ceilings create a sense of spaciousness, whilst the deep sofa and comfy chairs make the room feel warm and cosy. Equipped with a DVD player, cable TV and a complimentary mini bar, you enjoy the privacy of this space, spending time with your loved ones without any distractions.
The outdoor terrace offers sun loungers, with space for you to bask in the sunshine, embracing the surrounding nature. You can dip in and out of your private pool, gazing out to the views and even order food in from one of the hotel restaurants, dining under the stars in this breath-taking setting. The villa is located within Cape Fahn, off the beautiful Choeng Mon Beach on the north-east corner of Koh Samui. To get to the property you can fly direct from Bangkok to Koh Samui Airport from which it is only a short drive to the Cape Fahn Hospitality Lounge, or you can opt for the one-hour boat trip from Surat Thani, treating yourself to views of the islands before your holiday even begins. With complimentary refreshments, wi-fi, newspapers and magazines at the lounge, you can await your three-minute crossing to the island. This brief transfer is complimentary and operates daily between 07:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
Once you arrive, Villa Cheong is located amongst the trees, with a beautiful sea view for you to enjoy. You can opt for as much privacy as you desire, with a private swimming pool, secluded view and even the option to have restaurant meals brought to your villa. The hotel has two fabulous restaurants on offer; Long Dtai and Hue. Long Dtai is a completely unique eatery, with a menu designed by chef David Thompson specialising in an authentic Southern-Thai seafood restaurant, stressing marine conservation and sustainability. Hue offers more relaxed dining, situated near the pools and offering international and Thai menus of the highest quality. For a special occasion, the hotel can set up a private table on the beach, dining barefoot in the sand with the sounds of the sea and nature to accompany your meal.
