Rent Apartment Pastel Meryta Joshua Tree National Park
Holiday Home Rental Description
Desert hideaways often walk on the wilder side of life, and this place in Joshua Tree isn’t the shy and retiring type. Bold, hedonistic, quirky and fun, it’s all about fully immersing yourselves in the other-worldly experience of staying in the desert. With more than a nod to the 1970s, it’s a retro oasis with mid-century styling, over-the-top art and a disco ball in the master bedroom. It’s way out, man.
Spend your days hiking the nearby trails, swimming in the private pool or just hanging loose in the garden – with ten acres of land, outdoor games and ‘Ernie’ the VW Beetle to visit, there’s plenty to do without leaving home. Read on the hammock, relax in the hot tub or get the barbecue going for a special meal. Indoors, meanwhile, there are all sorts of entertainment options, with a Sonos system, record player and a CD collection (now that’s retro).
Perfect for couples but with enough space for a small family, the second bedroom and bathroom are set in a separate casita just a couple of steps from the main building – keeping everything handy but private. And at night you can light one of two fire pits and cosy up under blankets as the stars come out. Particularly bright in this part of the world, the host has even built a special stargazing deck away from the house. At night you’ll be able to see the lights of nearby Joshua Tree village twinkling in the distance. For the full experience, choose to spend a night on the kingsize outdoor bed. You can thank us in the morning.
