Villa Jordana is a stylish holiday home in the quiet Costa Blanca neighbourhood of Benissa that enjoys pleasant views of lush trees and the hills beyond.
A blend of contemporary cool and traditional rustic charm, this villa looks excellent but is also an extremely comfortable base for your holiday. Natural materials are used throughout, with quality wood furnishings and some brick and stone features adding even more character. Large windows and patio doors also help bring the beautiful outside in.
The villa’s luxurious accommodation is set over two floors. A wonderfully cosy open plan living/dining space has been designed and decorated to feel like the traditional Spanish heart of the home.
Two comfortable sofas are ideally positioned to appreciate the beautiful wood fireplace, and there’s also a television, should you prefer watching that instead. A classic dining table seats up to four people. Adjacent to this space is a well-equipped and quality kitchen. There’s also a utility room with a washing machine to provide even more convenience during your stay.
All three bedrooms are large and boast a stylish, modern décor. One bedroom has a double bed, the second features both a double bed and a single bed, and the third bedroom has two single beds. There are two bathrooms, with one having a shower and the other featuring both a shower and a bathtub.
To the exterior of the villa is a large terrace with a partially-covered area being home to a selection of outdoor furniture for both relaxing and dining. The star feature of the patio is the private swimming pool that’s surrounded by sun loungers.
There’s also an outdoor shower for refreshing yourself after a dip or an afternoon of leisurely enjoying the views. A barbecue allows you to grill some local fish or seafood for a delicious al fresco dinner. To the front of the villa is a small gravel garden with table and chairs.You don’t have to travel far to enjoy a family day out at the beach, with the Blue Flag-awarded Playa la Fustera being just under 10-minutes away by car. This stretch of the Costa Blanca coastline is mostly quiet and laidback and offers fine sand for relaxing on.
The water here is calm and clear, making it ideal for both swimming and snorkelling. Rocks close to the shore are the perfect place for spotting all sorts of exotic fish and marine life. When it’s time for lunch, there’s a restaurant/bar that serves a good choice of dishes.
Villa Jordana is as equally close to Benissa as it is to another historic town, Calpe. Both are within a 15-minute drive and offer plenty to keep everyone entertained during a day out.
Benissa has the claim to fame of being one of the oldest towns in the Costa Blanca region. Its medieval centre is particularly pretty, with winding streets and the main square that’s home to an attractive church. Browse the numerous shops before stopping at a café terrace for lunch and some people watching to soak up the lively atmosphere.
A historic seaside town, Calpe has several beaches to its name. The most family-friendly is Playa de la Fossa with its excellent amenities, soft sand and calm, safe waters. Playa del Cantal Roig is a smaller beach and closest to the majestic Penyal d’Ifac.
This rocky outcrop that rises high from the sea is a natural park in itself and is home to many rare plants and over 300 species of animal, including many seabirds. Climb to the top of the rock for stunning views over the sea.
