An ultra-luxury five-bedroom, five-bathroom Mediterranean style villa perfectly positioned in the “golden triangle” region of the Algarve. Spread out across three levels; the villa seamlessly intertwines modern luxury with warm, natural touches of terracotta, stones and woods, which reflect the natural shades and textures of the surrounding region.
Kick back in the light and spacious living area with comfortable leather sofas, a flat-screen TV, Sonos speakers and a wood fireplace. Large, sliding patio doors lead to the outdoor terrace, which has a gorgeous kidney-shaped private swimming pool. Cool off from the Mediterranean temperatures by taking a refreshing dip, or top up your tan on the surrounding loungers. The villa is fully fenced and is surrounded by the natural pine trees which thrive in the region, meaning your privacy is guaranteed.
The fully equipped American style kitchen features a breakfast bar and has everything you need to whip up meals with locally bought fresh produce, including fridge/freezer, oven, kettle, electric hob and coffee machine. Make your mealtimes al fresco by opening up the patio doors in the kitchen and serving them at the outdoor BBQ and seating area.
The house has been built with outdoor relaxation in mind and boasts an extra terrace with seating on the first floor. An elegant feature, it attaches to the light and airy master bedroom, which is en-suite and has a bath and a separate shower. The luxury continues on the rooftop terrace, which is equipped with a drinks fridge so you can enjoy a chilled glass of wine at sunset as you gaze over the pine trees to the Atlantic ocean.
The ground floor has two double bedrooms which share a bathroom, and two more bedrooms can be found on the lower ground floor which each have their own bathroom. All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned, decorated in neutral colours of stone and cream and are awash with natural light. The double bedroom on the lower ground floor leads to an outdoor patio with a table tennis table to keep the kids entertained. Meander off the patio through the private gate, and you’ll find a wooded trail leading to the golden sands of Praia do Ancão.Set in the luxury resort of Vale do Garrão, the villa is perfectly positioned in the exclusive “golden triangle” of the Algarve region. Made up of luxury resorts, the triangle is famous for its golf courses, and Michelin starred restaurants. The nearby shopping districts are a stone’s throw away and you’ll be within walking distance of some of the region’s most spectacular beaches.
From your villa, take a stroll through the pine forests to the beach of Praia do Garrão, a picturesque stretch of yellow sand dotted with sun loungers and umbrellas. The clear turquoise waters have earned it the coveted EU Blue Flag status, and visitors can spend their day between the Atlantic ocean and eating in one of the several acclaimed beachside restaurants.
Praia do Ancão sits further along the coast and is equally stunning. The beach is home to one of the region’s most famous seafood restaurants, Dois Passos, which repeatedly features in the Michelin guides thanks to its fresh local produce and exceptional tapas and homemade ice cream.Golf enthusiasts will be thrilled by easy access to the Vale do Lobo resort. An iconic fixture of the Algarve, the resort has two private golf courses, which are sure to keep you pleasantly active with a calendar of year-round competitions and tournaments. The course is set amongst pine trees and lakes, and its clifftop carryover has become one of the world’s most famous golfing images.
Vale do Garrão and the surrounding resorts provide everything you could possibly need, and many guests choose to spend their whole holiday absorbing the amenities. Those wanting to explore further afield can drive to Faro, the capital of the Algarve and home to the winding, cobbled roads of the old town which is surrounded by historic Roman walls. Daily markets sell fresh local produce, as well as handmade crafts and clothing specific to the region. Grab a picnic and head to Praia de Faro for a change in beach scenery, or take a walk along the marina and soak up the European cafe culture.
Further out is the Ludo Hiking Trail, a stunning nature track that gets you up close to the salt pools of Ria Formosa Natural Park and all its wildlife. The track is a birdwatcher’s paradise with flocks of flamingos and Spoonbills year-round. The track is relatively easy, coming in at 7km and will take approximately three to four hours.
