Villa Angela is a beautiful and spacious nine-bedroom villa located in Matulji, a short drive from Croatia’s third largest city, Rijeka. The only thing to distract from the uninterrupted sea views at this villa is the picturesque scenery of the Učka mountains, which frame the views and hint towards the outstanding natural landscapes Croatia has to offer.
For large groups, this bright and airy villa is the perfect choice. With endless nooks and cranny’s as well as large open spaces. You can all enjoy private moments to soak in the tranquil atmosphere as well as gathering together as a group to celebrate special occasions and the simple joy of being together in this beautiful location. Spread over three floors, there are endless living spaces, bedrooms and charming outdoor areas for you to enjoy; all you need to do is turn up and relax!
With large groups in mind, there are two living rooms in this modern villa, the first offers direct access to the outdoors, with natural light flooding into the space. This room is furnished with sofas, a television and small dining area, perfect for relaxing afternoons when you need a moment away out of the sun. The second living room boasts a sitting area, dining table and modern kitchen under a wooden ceiling with chic décor that everyone is going to love. The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances you could need, making cooking a breeze in this bright space.
Spread over the three floors, there are nine bedrooms in total throughout the villa, sleeping up to eighteen guests. All the rooms offer king-size double beds, except one which has a pair of single beds. Two of these restful bedrooms offer en-suite facilities, with four further modern bathrooms for you to share.
With balconies on the top floors and a sequence of outdoor spaces around the base of the villa, you can follow the sun around all day long! Equipped with a private pool and jacuzzi, relaxation is inevitable, whilst kids can play to their hearts contend in the villa’s playground. There are loungers and parasols, as well as an outdoor dining area where you can all sit together, enjoying every moment of quality time as a group.Villa Angela is a large nine-bedroom villa located in Matulji, a short drive from Croatia’s third largest city, Rijeka. The airport is less than twenty-six kilometers away, so you can hop off your plane and be un-packed within the hour.
The nearest beach is a short drive away, approximately eight kilometers, with a selection of delicious restaurants, cafes, and shops for you to enjoy. There are supermarkets also nearby for convenience, so all you really need to do, is turn up and relax!
Oparija, known as the gem of Kravner Bay, is also a short drive away from this Villa. It is renowned for its historical churches, Walk of Fame, museum, picturesque promenade, magnificent Mediterranean cuisine, the two majestic fountains and the beautiful beach. So it is well worth a day of exploring.
Rijeka can be reached within a twenty-minute drive. It is Croatia’s third largest city, famed for its yearly carnivals, it offers vibrant blend of Italianate Habsburg grandeur with a busy port and bustling nightlife. Home to Croatia’s most colourful carnival, it is worth taking a look at the calendar to see if you can time your trip in line with its dates! Korzo is the name of the cities busy promenade were you can easily loose an afternoon to ambling and window shopping. We highly recommend visiting the busy central market and fish market which offer hubs of activity each day The fish market building looks alike to a temple of fish, decorated with sculptures of sea creatures, making it a must visit during your stay. Just next to the fish market you can buy fruit and vegetables at the central market, using local produce to adapt your usual recipes. The City Tower was built in the Middle Ages, with plenty of history to explore and a passage underneath connects Korzo with the historic Old Town. This Rijeka tunnel is among the most recent of the town’s attractions, as it was built in 1939-1942 by Italians for military purposes.
