While staying at Sea Glass, you will make full use of the games room that comes complete with a pool table, ping pong and 70″ television – this is where the fun begins. If you must catch up on some business while away, there’s a laptop and printing equipment available to use, which can also be used to plan any day trips and adventures that you wish to experience during your time here.
Outdoors, a beautiful hexagon pool sits in the midst of stunning palm trees and flowers with bougainvillaea on all sides. It’s common to spot graceful hummingbirds, wild canaries and yellow bellies flocking to the surrounding nature in the villa’s peaceful garden. The garden is simply heavenly and its six acres are the most exciting feature of this lovely home. A hot tub sits beside the pool, which is a fantastic place to take in the delightful views from. You can also admire the scenery from one of the many balconies, one which is furnished with a bed – you’ll be forgiven for gently nodding in this spot. Croydon In The Mountains is a 50-minute drive away in the dazzling city of Montego Bay. The site is a foothill plantation that produces some of the island’s best produce: coffee, pineapples and citrus fruits.
The site has received the National Champion Farmer Trophy three times and was where one of Jamaica’s greatest heroes, Samuel Sharpe was born. Sharpe was a pioneer in the fight against slavery and the leader of the Baptist War slave rebellion on the island in 1832. Today, his face is emblazoned onto $50 Jamaican banknotes. Visitors can go on tours at Croydon from Tuesday to Friday each week.
Upon entering Croydon In The Mountains, you will be in awe of the glorious mountain and countryside surroundings and invited to taste the fresh fruits, coffee and yummy sugar cane. At Croydon, visitors will discover all there is to know about Jamaica’s fresh produce and how it is created. At the end of the day, you will be treated to a tasty BBQ lunch and a cup of famous Blue Mountain coffee.
An hour’s drive away lies Glistening Waters Luminous Lagoon. This location should be visited in the darkness and silence of the night.
