With an elevated position on the slopes of the Mosor mountain range, this huge villa is treated to some pretty spectacular views of Stobreč rooftops and the Adriatic Sea stretching on into the distance.
One of the toughest choices guests face here is from which spot to enjoy this beautiful panorama. The obvious choice would be up on the rooftop terrace, which has a couple of loungers and a hot tub. On the next level down, there’s another balcony and one more down from that is the terrace, home to a large swimming pool with another Jacuzzi attached, an outdoor kitchen and an alfresco dining table underneath a pergola.
With outdoor spaces like this, you might perhaps be forgiving if the interior didn’t manage to live up to them, but we’re happy to report that’s not the case here. As well as a wellness area with a sauna on the lower ground floor, you’ll find plenty of deliciously contemporary flourishes, from the glass-fronted fireplace and sleek black kitchen to the bold yellow sofa.
When you can manage to prise yourself away from this home, there’s a hiking trail starting on the same street that will take you into the mountains. Otherwise, Stobreč Beach takes ten minutes to reach in the car and Split takes another quarter of an hour on top of that.
