Les Aroles is a simple yet stylish semi-detached chalet apartment for a group of 8 guests. Nestled in the heart of the modern ski resort, Les Menuires, high in the French Alps. Set across two storeys, this four-bedroom apartment enjoys both a private entrance, almost immediate access to the pistes and a lovely south-facing terrace with spectacular mountain views.
The warmly inviting interiors set the scene for a low-key home-from-home for either a family or group of winter sports enthusiasts; whether they be ski aficionados or a family with little ones in tow, Les Aroles will meet everyone’s needs with simple chalet style and grace.
Timber-clad interiors feature throughout, with traditional carved furnishings, light-filled open-plan spaces and serene, minimalist decor. The sleek American-style fitted kitchen is ideal for convening as a group at the end of a busy day on the slopes to enjoy local delicacies and wines, while the understated dining and living area offers wonderful views and home-like comfort. Each of the four bedrooms can accommodate two guests, within finessed surroundings offering tranquillity, sublime views and relaxed cosy appeal.
This self-catered home is just a short distance to the local amenities and restaurants of Les Menuires, located just next to the Torollet ski lift in the Preyerand area. Set in the Savoie region of the French Alps, Les Menuires is just underneath sister Val Thorens resort, forming part of the 3 Valleys ski area, known as the largest one in the world! Offering a total of 86 slopes across 160km, Les Menuires is known for its excellent range of ski facilities for families and skiers of all levels, from gentle blue slopes to black rates, to cross-country skiing as well as non-snow-based activities. This is an excellent option for groups of varied abilities, while Les Aroles provides the perfect warm, welcoming base to return to. 
** Please note the property is part of the 3 Valleys and is therefore linked to Val Thorens but is actually located in Les Menuires**Set at 1850m, Les Menuires provides great access to varied skiing terrain, with 600km of pistes and over 180 lifts available, spanning gentle learner slopes to black-rated pistes and off-piste skiing. 
First-timers will find the ski area an ideal place to learn, with plenty of beginner zones and easy green and blue runs. Advanced skiers will find every type of terrain they can imagine to test their mettle on the higher slopes and varied cross-country tracks.
Founded in 1964, Les Menuires and Saint Martin de Belleville together form part of the 3 Valleys ski area, in the Savoy region. Lift links towards Val Thorens above and further on towards Méribel and the rest of the 3 Valleys, are fast and efficient offering vast accessibility for all levels of skiers. Traditionally considered a more budget-friendly and more functional resort, today Les Menuires is a forerunner among the French ski resorts, with a revived centre of town and many pretty surrounding villages.
The centre of Les Menuires is set around La Croisette where a shopping centre and an array of restaurants can be found. Most architecture is classically styled in wood and stone, creating a traditional resort feel, and when lit at night, the town has a magical landscape. 
When visitors tire of the slopes, alternatives such as mountain biking on snow, to tobogganing or visits to the beautiful lakes are on offer. Why not try a torch-lit descent or a snow-sculpting workshop!
